Thanksgiving via Dominica
Well, I have not been blogging because I received a very bad case of the winter cold, but I am on the mend now and back to work.
After my Dominica trip, I really Caribbeannized (is that a word?) my family Thanksgiving this year. Here are some ideas for your Christmas turkey or for any meal.
Turkey Marinade:
1 head garlic
1 large onion
1 ounce ginger
large handful of thyme and parsley
1 Scotch Bonnet pepper
1/2 cup olive oil
3/4 cup browning
Wash turkey with lime juice. Blend all ingredients in blender and marinate turkey in turkey bag overnight. Roast turkey in turkey bag and you will have a moist, delicious flavorful turkey.
Use for any poultry and I guarantee it will WOW your family.
